Episode 13 is the thirteenth chapter of the Code Adam (WEBTOON) series by Atterozen. It was released on September 8, 2019.
Synopsis
The T-2s' mission to infiltrate the gala and seek Sita's aid in obtaining the cure begins. Hinalea wears a communication earpiece, into which she asks Annie if she is ready. Annie is positioned in a building outside the gala's back entrance, acting as sniper in case Sita tries to flee that way. She comments that security is heavier out front, making it easier for her to catch Sita if she tries to run. Nine asks how she knows all this, and Annie replies that all lab aide candidates are expected to undergo basic military training.
Arriving at the gala venue, Iantis explains that only Sands, Atlas, and Hinalea have earpieces, as such devices tend to malfunction with his and Lato's abilities. As the group approaches the entrance, Nine asks how they are supposed to get inside. Iantis replies that they're going to do things "properly," and that they'd bribed their way onto the guest list. Wryly, Atlas comments that they have an interesting idea of "proper."
Once inside, they split into groups to search for Sita: Atlas and Nine checking one area of the venue; Hinalea, Lato, and Iantis mingling with the guests to try to spot her among the crowd; and Sands heading to the parking garage. As they search, Atlas and Nine notice a large crowd of paparazzi, all snapping photographs and asking Sita to answer their questions. Atlas informs the rest of their group over his mic that they've located Sita, but are unable to reach her due to the crowd. He mentions that she's not likely to talk to them in public; they'll need to speak with her alone. As he considers this, a woman approaches him and Nine, asking if they are related to Sita.
Meanwhile, Sands arrives at the parking garage and begins searching the upper floors. As he does so, he passes Deus, who is hiding in the shadows near the entryway.
