Episode 6 is the sixth chapter of the Code Adam (WEBTOON) series by Atterozen. It was released on July 21st, 2019.
Synopsis
While unconscious, Atlas has a flashback from his childhood. In the memory, his eight siblings (Deus, Hiru, Fyra, Viis, Sita, Sete, Otto, and Nine) are playing in the snow outside the original lab facility, Hades and Nora watching from the front steps. The kids decide to build a snowman. Nine spears a carrot through its head for a nose, then comments that it doesn't look quite right.
An armored car pulls up and the kids gather around it as Atlas jumps out, wearing a heavy cloak and hat. Nine asks Atlas where he was, but Vesta interjects before he can respond, saying that he was having additional testing done at another facility. Atlas agrees and follows Vesta inside despite the other kids' questions, explaining that he feels tired and needs to rest.
Inside the facility, Atlas removes his cloak, revealing blood splatters on his clothing. \ Atlas reminds her of their agreement - to use him as their weapon in the war in exchange for not sending his siblings to the battlefront.
In the present, adult Atlas awakens to find Annie leaning over him. He asks her where they are and what happened to the others. Annie tosses some clothes in his direction, telling him to get dressed and follow her to them. Once Atlas is ready, she leads him down the hall to another room. Everything is chaotic - Iantis and Nine are arguing, several of the T-2 children are breaking into the wine cabinet, a complacent Sands is fully condoning underage drinking to the outrage of Iantis, Hinalea is listening to music and ignoring everyone, and Lato is sitting by, silently fuming. Finally, Lato tells them all to quiet down, pointing out that Atlas is awake. Spotting him, Reyna tearfully apologizes to Atlas, but he tells her that he's alright and she need not worry.
Lato then begins to explain the reason for the lab break-in. He states that Hinalea, Sands, Iantis, and himself are all T-2s, Horrors who were created from the genes of the nine Originals. However, T-2s' bodies are unable to handle the strain of containing such powerful abilities, causing them to deteriorate over time and leading to an inevitable death. Lato states that their only hope for a normal life is by finding a cure to completely eradicate the T-2s' abilities from their bodies. He reveals that all nine Originals are needed to for the cure, and asks Atlas and Nine to join them in creating it.
